It’s no longer officially supported, but there is a third-party app that can work. Look at OpenSolo. You’ll need Solex or SidePilot

I downloaded side pilot. Now I don’t know how to link my drone to the app.

Solo was discontinued four years ago and has not been officially supported since the end of its warranty period three years ago. However, because it is open source, there is a open source version of the code that is still supported by the community. If you you are using Solex or SidePilot, please upgrade the Solo firmware to OpenSolo: https://github.com/OpenSolo/OpenSolo/wiki

I have enjoyed 3DR products over the years. I have flown and still own 3DR quads, Y6, X8, and more than one iris, and Solo “drones.” I hope that 3DR comes off the shelves of history and start making unmanned systems again. Even if there is just a limited production run for the government or commercial market, it would be nice to see the 3DR logo stamped on the frame of another “drone.”

How does 3dr handle cases where the Solo malfunctioned and destroyed the drone?

Ex. 1/2″ from landing the solo failsafed (with no control from Tx) and flew directly into a tree destroying my immaculate drone, gimbal, and gopro camera?

    Thank You
    Nick

I have sent at least 10 emails with a detailed description and with all the required documents for a warranty issue, along with pictures to https://www.3dr.com/support/.

They have not returned a single email regarding this situation.
Is there anyway a 3DR employee could assist with this?

        Thank You.
